Stage Tech Class

Stage Technology - John Strain

The auditorium at Washington gets a lot of use from both our own VAPA Department and other school activities, but outside groups rent out our stage for performances.  This requires a group of specially trained students to manage and maintain our theater.  This year-long elective course is designed for all levels of students. Stage lighting design and maintenance, set design and construction, prop design and construction, theater maintenance and stage management are areas that will be touched upon in the year.  This career-oriented class will train you in skills to work in internships during the summer and pursue it in college or even professionally!
