THE PTA MISSION

Our purpose

  • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship; 
  • To raise the standards of home life; to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
  • To build close relationships between home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of children and youth;
  • To develop united efforts between educators and the general public to secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

As with all Family Resource Nights, the GWHS PTSA will conduct its membership meeting as part of the programming. This month, elections will be held for the following offices: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, VP Membership, VP Communications, VP Fundraising, VP Hospitality, Parliamentarian, and Staff Liaison. Candidates are still needed for VP Fundraising and VP Hospitality. In addition to the listed candidates (see agenda below), nominations will be taken from the floor.
